DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — There were some backups for those traveling along Interstate 83 southbound in Dauphin County.
According to Fritzi Schreffler with PennDOT, there was a right-lane closure along I-83 southbound just south of Exit 45 (Paxton Street/Bass Pro) for a dirt spill.
County maintenance crews responded to the scene to clean the lane. It is unclear how the dirt was spilled, according to Schreffler.
Backups were expected on I-83 south and I-283 north.
