DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — A hard-working patrol dog is ready to relax after serving the citizens of Lower Paxton Township for six years.

K9 Chase is a 7-year-old Shepherd/Malinois Mix and was the patrol partner of Officer Michael Elezovic from 2018 to 2024.

In September of 2020, K9 Chase was featured on A&E's America's Top Dog, where he won an episode and earned the Police Bureau $5,000 towards a new Police K9 and another $5,000 in donations to the non-profit charity Protection4Paws.

According to the Lower Paxton Township Police Department, K9 Chase will be retiring due to medical issues, and will be living with his handler, Mike.
