Make-A-Wish surprises Dauphin County Marvel fan with trip of a lifetime

Eight-year-old Kenny Baranowski and his family will travel to London to watch the filming of the upcoming Fantastic Four movie.

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Kenny Baranowski received a special, super surprise.

The eight-year-old from Dauphin County lives with congenital heart disease and is known for his love of Marvel.

As a result, staff members of Penn State Health Children's Hospital in Derry Township and officials from the Make-A-Wish Foundation gathered together to give Kenny and his family the ultimate surprise: a trip to London to watch the filming of the upcoming "Fantastic Four" movie.

"Fantastic Four: First Steps" will not be released until 2025, but the young superhero fan will get a sneak preview.

Kenny's family is very appreciative of the generosity of both the hospital and the foundation.

"I never realized how much Kenny and our family have impacted so many people," said Joe Baranowski, Kenny's father. To see the love from everybody is unreal."

The Baranowskis will leave for London on Saturday.
