HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police have identified and charged a suspect in connection to a shooting that injured three children Sunday afternoon in Harrisburg.
Mandjou Sylla, 20, of Harrisburg, is charged with four felony counts of criminal attempted homicide, five felony counts of aggravated assault, seven misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person, and two felony firearms offenses, according to Harrisburg Police.
His bail has been denied, according to online court documents.
He was arrested on the night of Nov. 2, according to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police.
Sylla is accused of being the shooter in an incident that injured a 13-year-old boy, an 11-year-old girl, and a 3-year-old girl at about 3:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of 18th and Regina Streets.
Investigators believe the 13-year-old with a person who was the intended target in the shooting; the other victims were caught in the crossfire.
All three children were treated at a local hospital and are expected to recover, police said.
