Police are searching for missing Harrisburg youth

HARRISBURG, Pa. — Police are searching for a missing juvenile in Harrisburg.

James Chuwan, 12, has not been seen since 8 a.m. Wednesday, when he ran away from Central Dauphin East Middle School after being dropped off by the school bus, according to Lower Paxton Township Police.

Chuwan is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans. He was last seen heading west on Union Deposit Road toward the Interstate 83 area.

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts can be submitted online or by calling Dauphin County Dispatch at 717-558-6900. Tipsters are asked to refer to Case No. LP-24-006996.
