DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Travelers are being notified of a closure along a stretch of the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Dauphin and Lebanon Counties.
Officials with the PA Turnpike announced that there is an eastbound closure between Harrisburg East (Exit 247) and Lebanon-Lancaster Interchange (Exit 266) due to an overturned vehicle that caught fire at mile marker 259.9EB.
The closure will remain in place until the scene is clear.
The following detour is in place while crews work at the scene:
- I-283 North 2.7 miles
- US 322 East 21.1 miles
- PA 72 South 2 miles
- Re-enter the PA Turnpike at Lebanon-Lancaster Interchange #266
According to Lebanon County Dispatch, the crash happened at 8:45 p.m. It is unclear at this time if any injuries were reported.
