Pa. State Police arrest Harrisburg man wanted on multiple warrants, including failure to register as a sex offender

HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Harrisburg man is in custody on several outstanding warrants.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers assisted members of the U.S. Marshals task force with attempting to serve multiple warrants on Scott Lee Gardiner, 45, from Harrisburg. One of the warrants was a felony for failure to register as a sex offender. 

Troopers reportedly located Gardiner in Adams County on Oct. 24, who began fleeing on foot. After a foot pursuit and the use of a taser, Gardiner was taken into custody.

He was transported to Adams County Prison for arraignment. In addition to his warrant, Gardiner has been charged with flight to avoid apprehension, evading arrest or detention on foot and resisting arrest.
