HARRISBURG, Pa. — A pair of bridges carrying Interstate 283 over Route 322 West in Swatara Township, Dauphin County will be inspected next week, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).
The northbound and southbound I-283 bridges will have left lane restrictions in place while the inspections take place, PennDOT said.
The work is scheduled from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, weather permitting.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews, PennDOT said.
