ROYALTON, Pa. — Update, Dec. 16: The borough of Royalton said the baby Jesus was returned to the Nativity scene.
Previous: A Dauphin County borough has accused someone of taking the Christ out of its Christmas display.
The borough of Royalton said on its Facebook page that the baby Jesus has been taken from its Nativity display.
In the post, complete with an accompanying picture of the Grinch, the borough said it has surveillance cameras to monitor the display but is asking whoever stole the savior to do the right thing and return it before the borough takes legal action.
"No questions asked," the borough's Facebook post says.
