HARRISBURG, Pa. — A second suspect has been arrested in connection to a Harrisburg stabbing and burglary.
According to the Upper Allen Township Police Department, on Friday, June 28 at 11:25 p.m., police were dispatched to a home along the first block of Gettysburg Pike for a reported stabbing.
At the scene, officers located an adult woman suffering from a stab wound. The suspects had already fled.
Witnesses were able to identify Agmad "Andrew" Hanna, 30, as the person who stabbed the victim, according to a criminal complaint. Defid Rezk, 27, allegedly forcefully took property from the victim during the assault.
Hanna was arrested on June 29 in Harrisburg. On Aug. 30, Rezk was taken into custody by agents with the U.S. Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He's been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, criminal attempted burglary, criminal conspiracy to commit burglary, possessing instruments of a crime, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault.
A preliminary hearing was held on Oct. 10 and all charges were bound over to the Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas. He has been charged with robbery, burglary, attempted burglary, simple assault and theft by unlawful taking.
