DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — The Broad Street Market Alliance announced today that "Tenty McTentface" has won the Broad Street Market tent naming competition to officially become the name of the new structure.

Out of more than 150 original submissions from the public, “Tenty McTentface” received 70.14% of the votes.

The contest was announced last month, in conjunction with the "soft launch" of a temporary tent erected next to the market's Brick Building, which was heavily damaged by a fire in the summer of 2023.

Chief of the Market Eric Hagarty thanked everyone who submitted the creative names and made donations to the market in support of the naming competition.

“During such polarizing times, it is heartwarming to see that there is still a candidate who can unify the country the way Tenty McTentface has,” Hagarty said.

The Stone Building and Tenty McTentface at Broad Street Market are open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and hours of operation for specific vendors are posted at their stands.
