DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. — Dauphin County is opening a brand new Wawa on Sept. 18, and Wawa leaders and community members are excited about the new convenience store addition.
Located on West Harrisburg Pike in Lower Swatara Township, company officials gave the media a sneak peek of the new location.
"This is a chance for us to thank our VIP customers who have written to us and said please bring a Wawa closer to our home in central PA, so we're getting ready to do that," said Lori Bruce, Wawa public relations manager.
Wawa said it plans to open 40 more locations in Central Pa. over the next few years, including locations in York, Cumberland and Franklin Counties.
