PERRY COUNTY, Pa. — Officials are investigating a deadly boat accident in Perry County.
According to reports, crews responded to the area of the Ferryboat campsites in Liverpool on the Susquehanna River around 7:50 p.m. on June 28 to conduct a river search.
Officials at the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission confirmed that an investigation is underway into a deadly boat accident.
The Dauphin County Coroner's Office identified the deceased as Lars Blomquist, 82, of Newfield, New York. The coroner ruled the cause of death freshwater drowning and the manner accidental.
