Man dies of injuries sustained in Lancaster County fire

MOUNTVILLE, Pa. — A Lancaster County man died of injuries he sustained in an early morning fire at his Mountville home, authorities said Friday.

Robert Enochs, 65, of the 100 block of Froelich Avenue, was pronounced dead at 4:37 a.m. at Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.

Enochs died of thermal burns and smoke inhalation, the corner determined. His death was ruled accidental.

According to authorities, a fire at Enochs' home at 3:18 a.m. He was found by emergency personnel in a room on the first floor and transported to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
