State Police are investigating a hang gliding crash that killed a Mifflin County man

MCVEYTOWN, Pa. — State Police are investigating the death of a Mifflin County man who died of injuries sustained in an apparent hang-gliding crash Monday afternoon.

It occurred around 3:58 p.m. near Jacks Mountain Road in Menno Township, Mifflin County, according to State Police.

The operator of the hang glider, a 68-year-old Belleville, Mifflin County man, was found dead at the scene, according to police.

The operator's identity has not been released by authorities.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
