21-year-old killed in Franklin County crash

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — A 21-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene of a Franklin County crash. 

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened in the area of Old Forge Road and the Waynesboro Watershed in Quincy Township on Sunday, June 23 at 8 p.m. 

The single-vehicle crash happened when the vehicle crossed over the white fog line west of the road, continuing to travel south off the road until it struck a tree. The car continued to travel south until it began to overturn, rolling until it struck another tree. 

The driver of the car was able to escape through the back windshield and flagged down a passing driver. He was transported to a nearby hospital, according to PSP. 

The passenger, identified as Benjamin Browall, 21, from Waynesboro, was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
