1 dead after crash on Route 30 in Franklin County

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — One woman is dead following a crash on Lincoln Way West (Route 30) in Franklin County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The crash occurred at the highway's intersection with Fort Loudon Road (Route 75) in Peters Township around 7:26 p.m. on Aug. 2.

Troopers say two vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred when a Chevrolet Cruze driving east on Route 30 ran a solid red light and struck the front driver's side of a Dodge Caravan traveling north on Route 75.

The driver of the Cruze, Connie Seville, 64, of McConnellsburg, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger of the Cruze was flown to a medical center with suspected serious internal injuries, State Police said. The driver of the Caravan was not injured.
