CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Emergency crews in Franklin County responded to a reported building collapse late Thursday afternoon.
According to Dustin Ulrich, the Chambersburg Fire Department Fire Chief, crews were dispatched to the 100 block of Kennedy St. in Chambersburg at 4:46 p.m.
They believed they were responding to a building collapse, but, at the scene, observed that the railing of a balcony broke.
As a result, two people reportedly fell 12 feet.
They were transported to a trauma center. It is unclear at this time what their current conditions are.
