FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Crews with the Franklin Fire Company rescued two people from a fire on Saturday morning.
According to the fire department, crews responded to the scene on the 6300 block of Lincoln Way West just before 9 a.m. to find two people, one adult and one child, hanging outside the home's windows.
Both were rescued before crews began tackling the flames.
The fire was found on the first floor and extended through the second floor and attic. Additional fire departments were called to the scene to help extinguish the fire, which took around three hours.
Four dogs were also found in the fire but unfortunately did not survive.
