Franklin County police investigating narcotics robbery, searching for three men

One man reportedly passed a note threatening harm to the employee as two others jumped over the counter and stole the narcotics.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Three persons of interest are wanted following a reported robbery in Franklin County.

According to the Chambersburg Police Department, on May 15 at 8:55 p.m., officers took a report of a robbery that occurred at 415 E. Queen Street. 

The investigation revealed three men entered the business. One passed a note threatening harm to an employee as the remaining two jumped over the counter and stole an unknown amount of narcotic medication. All three then fled the store, according to police. 

A dark SUV was observed in the area after the incident occurred.
