CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A pedestrian was flown to a trauma center after being struck by a car in Chambersburg yesterday.
The Chambersburg Police Department says the crash occurred around 6:13 p.m. on Jan. 16 at an intersection. The pedestrian was crossing West Queen Street when a silver sedan hit him from behind. The sedan fled the scene, according to police.
Officers say they have developed a suspect and plan to pursue criminal charges. They did not release the name of the suspect at this time.
