Two injured, one airlifted to hospital following Franklin County crash

One driver was reportedly airlifted to a York hospital and the second was also transported to a nearby hospital.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. — Two people were reportedly injured in an early morning Franklin County crash.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred around 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 13 along Black Gap Road at Scotland Main Street in Greene Township. One car was traveling north on Black Gap Road in the right curb lane while a dump truck was traveling south on Black Gap Road, also in the right curb lane. 

The first car reportedly slowed to a stop in its lane of travel, attempting to turn left onto Scotland Main Street. 

According to PSP, the car reportedly entered the dump truck's lane of travel. As a result, the second car struck the first. 

The first car reportedly sustained disabling damage to the passenger side, and the second car sustained front-end damage. 

The driver of the first car was air-lifted to WellSpan York Hospital and the second driver was also transported to a nearby hospital. It's unclear what their conditions are at this time.
