HERSHEY, Pa. — The Hershey Bears will look a little different when they hit the ice for warmups Saturday night.
For the second year in a row, the team will be sporting the sweaters of local high school hockey teams before their game.
Jerseys from the more than 20 schools in the Central Pennsylvania Interscholastic Hockey League will be represented, including Hershey High School.
The Bears will don the special jerseys before they faceoff against the Laval Rockets at the Giant Center on Saturday at 7 p.m., with warmups slated to begin around 6:20 p.m.
The Bears Cup, the CPIHL's top division championship trophy named in honor of the franchise, will be on display during Saturday's game.
Hershey enters Saturday's game coming off of a 3-2 overtime win versus Providence Wednesday; the team tied a franchise record for the fastest team to 20 wins with the victory.
The Bears will be 20-6-0-0 heading into their upcoming match, which is the Teddy Bear Toss on Sunday, Jan. 7.
