WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Hours before Ohio Senator JD Vance took the stage, supporters lined up outside the Liberty Arena in Williamsport.
"I just wanna show my support, and I think Vance is a very inspirational person, so I'd love to get to see him in person," said Rilee Donahey, Butler.
Rilee Donahey says this election is important to her since she will be able to vote this time.
Former President Donald Trump and JD Vance are her picks. She says she supports the republican ticket because she goes to school full-time and still struggles to make ends meet, "I'm just hoping that our country can get back to where it was four years ago today and things will be easier and a lot of young people are struggling financially and I don't want that for my future."
Tim Huck traveled from Wellsboro to hear Vance's remarks, "I think he could be president down the road, very humble guy, he's down to earth, he comes from not much, just like a lot of people around here, and that's it, that's why I'm here," he said.
Francine Fry is hoping former President Donald Trump returns to the white house in 2025, "I voted for him the last time and I want him to make it again, I think he'd be great," he said.
Donna Ulsamer-Thomas says Trump is her candidate this election because he aligns with her views, "He must be blessed because he loves this country why would he put up with everything he's been through, being said about stuff and I 100% agree with his views, he's very conservative."
