The Juniata County District Attorney announced on Friday the results of the investigation into the use of deadly force by Pennsylvania State Police against Brandon Stine on June 17, 2023.
District Attorney Cory J. Snook, said state police were justified in the fatal shooting of Stine based on observations at the scene, a review of PSP reports, an independent investigation by a Juniata County detective, and all available evidence.

Stine fled once again.
Around 2:30 p.m. Trooper Rougeau was shot and killed after being ambushed by Stine.
