LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County woman died on Saturday evening after losing control of her vehicle and crashing, police say.

On Feb. 3, first responders were called to the first block of Roosevelt Boulevard in Manheim Township just before 7 p.m. to investigate a reported crash.

Officials say 77-year-old Sandra Ganse lost control of her vehicle and drove off the road before striking the curb and falling down a six-foot embankment.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and police are continuing to investigate.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Manheim Township Police Department and ask for Corporal Swigart.
