LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A multi-vehicle crash on US 222 southbound in Manheim Township, Lancaster County has led to all lanes of the roadway being closed for several hours, according to the Manheim Township Police Department.
The Manheim Township Fire Department was dispatched at 2:07 p.m. on Dec. 13 to mile marker 34.2 in between the Oregon Pike exit and the Brownstown/Rothsville exit for an accident, according to emergency dispatchers.
The left lane going northbound is also closed.
At least two people were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries.
The estimated time for the roadway to reopen is around 4:15 p.m.
Anyone traveling south on Route 222 is being diverted off at the Brownstown exit, according to police. Drivers are urged to seek other routes.
