LANCASTER, Pa. — The Lancaster County Drug Task Force on Monday announced the arrest of a Lancaster man accused of dealing cocaine.
Alex Yamil Ramos-Flores, 28, was charged with a felony count of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia last month after an investigation by the Drug Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations and Pennsylvania State Police, authorities said.
The Task Force seized 14 grams of cocaine valued at $1,400, various items of drug paraphernalia, two loaded handgun magazines, and more than $66,000 in cash during a raid of Ramos-Flores' home on the 400 block of Fairview Avenue on Nov. 6, police said.
Investigators began looking into Ramos-Flores in August. Multiple undercover agents or confidential informants purchased cocaine from Ramos-Flores, using pre-recorded funds provided by DTF during the investigation, authorities said.
Some of the DTF funds used in the undercover cocaine purchases were found in the $66,111 seized from Ramos-Flores’ home, according to DTF.
Ramos-Flores is currently free after posting monetary bail of $50,000 set by Judge Adam Witkonis.
