MANHEIM, Pa. — A Lancaster County man is facing charges after allegedly getting out of a vehicle and attacking a pedestrian with a wrench.
Yancy Isaac Turner, 18, of Manheim, is facing simple assault charges for his role in the incident.
On July 16, police say that victim was walking in the area of the 400 block of Charles Drive in Penn Township when Turner drove past at a high rate of speed.
Authorities say that the victim signaled for Turner to slow down.
Police say Turner proceeded to stop, exit the vehicle, and struck him in the face with a wrench. Police arrived on the scene to find the victim with a laceration under their eye.
Now, Turner will face charges.
