LANCASTER, Pa. — Federal, state and local authorities are investigating the theft of several firearms from a Lancaster County gun dealer.
A total of 43 firearms were stolen from Jones Firearms LLC, located on the 2200 block of Columbia Avenue in burglaries on June 30 and July 29, according to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Philadelphia Field Division, which is teaming with Pennsylvania State Police, the Manor Township Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation to offer a reward of $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
According to the ATF, two masked suspects were seen in both burglaries. They may have used a maroon or purple mid-2000s-era Honda Accord or a black late-model sedan with a moon roof to leave the scene.
ATF is offering the reward for the amount of up to $5,000, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total reward of up to $10,000. This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF in which NSSF, the trad association for the firearms industry, matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers.
