LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County bridge that's been closed for over a year has reopened.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transporation (PennDOT) announced Monday, Nov. 4 that repairs to the Strickler Road (Route 4045) bridge spanning Route 283 in Rapho Township have been completed.
This bridge is now open to traffic after it was closed in October 2023 due to a vehicle strike.
The repair project included replacing the bridge span over westbound Route 283.
Ryland Construction Company Inc., of Mount Wolf, was the contractor of the $652,696 project.
