Celebrate Lancaster returns to the city on Friday, showcasing Lancaster's diverse cultures with an array of live music and performers, food vendors, and more.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., stretching from Penn Square to Chestnut Street in the heart of the downtown area.

Traditionally held the last weekend in June, the decision to move Celebrate Lancaster to August makes space for other celebrations in June, like Pride Month and Juneteenth, organizers said in a press release. The event was moved to August last year after a stormy weather forecast forced organizers to postpone it.

The event will feature an impressive lineup of performers across two stages, including Boston Bachert the Magician, Angelica & the Midnight Ghost, SwimGood, Angel Dweh, 3rd Power Family Soul, Seraphina Soul, Flannel Covers and Suge & Naiby.

Food trucks and vendors open at 11 a.m. with a variety of offerings from fried fish and tacos to acai bowls and milkshakes to traditional fair treats like funnel cake and lemonade. Food vendors include Bala Saahas Indian Food Truck, Boba Thai Café, Bricker’s French Fries, Café 301, LLC, Carmens Latin American Soul Food, Farm Show Milkshakes, Greco’s Ice Cream, Homage: Cuisines of the West African Diaspora, J.R.’s Brisket LLC, Joe’s Fish Sandwiches, LA Concessions, Mr Frosty, Nils Funnel Cakes & More, Noel’s Café, Oola Bowls, Phusion Mobile Cuisine, Schnader’s Taters & Funnel Cakes, Sherri’s Crab Cakes, Souvlaki Boys, and Walko-Taco.

There will be two beer gardens for 21+ attendees to enjoy in Binns Park and Penn Square.
