COLUMBIA, Pa. — Police have arrested a 16-year-old suspect in connection to a January 15 shooting that injured another teen in Columbia, Lancaster County.
The juvenile is charged with firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor and recklessly endangering another person, according to Columbia Borough Police.
The suspect was charged after an investigation of the shooting, which occurred in the area of North Fourth Street and Avenue G, police said.
Responding officers found a 16-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
The suspect was picked up on a juvenile probation detainer and transported to the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center, police said.
