LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A 12-year-old child died on Saturday after a tree fell on them in Providence Township, Lancaster County.
According to county dispatch, the coroner was called to the scene on the 100 block of Sawmill Road Saturday night.
Officers found Daniel Lee Beiler, 12, had been struck by a falling tree branch during the thunderstom that swept through Lancaster County Saturday night.
An autopsy by the Lancaster County Coroner's Office determined Beiler died of traumatic head injuries. His manner of death was ruled accidental, the coroner's office said.
