Route 30 reopens in Lancaster County after crash

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A crash involving a tractor trailer closed a section of Route 30 in Lancaster County Tuesday morning. 

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. on March 19 at Exit: US 222 North/to I-76, according to 511PA.com.

All eastbound lanes of Route 30 were closed in the area for several hours, according to Lancaster County 911 Dispatch. PennDOT reported that all three lanes were opened to traffic around 11:30 a.m., but traffic in the area remained heavy.

Officials say the crash also involved a car and one person is being evaluated for injuries. The coroner was not called.

Crews worked to reset a damaged barrier as well as clean up debris and fuel spilled on the road.

The Manheim Township Police Department is investigating.
