Emergency crews at scene of double fatal crash in Lancaster County

At the scene, officers found one person injured as a result of the head-on collision and two people dead.

MANHEIM, Pa. — Emergency crews are at the scene of a fatal crash in Lancaster County. 

According to the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department (NLCRPD), officers are investigating a crash on West 28th Division Highway (SR322) near the Lancaster/Lebanon County line. 

At 11:45 a.m., NLCRPD, a fire company, and EMS were dispatched to a head-on collision in Penn Township. At the scene, officers found one person injured as a result of the crash and two people dead. 

Officers say the driver of a 2019 Infiniti entered the oncoming lane of travel and struck a 2017 Ford head-on. The driver and only occupant of the Infiniti was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Ford caught on fire after the crash, trapping both people inside. Allen G. English, 84, of Lititz Borough, and his daughter, Grace English-Rohrer, of Lancaster, were killed.

The crash is actively being investigated. 

NLCRPD is being assisted at the scene by the Lancaster County Crash Team, Lancaster County Coroner's Office and Brickerville Fire Company.
