LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A toddler is dead after an accident with a piece of farming equipment, according to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office.
The incident occurred around 8:15 p.m. on June 4 at an Amish farm in Colerain Township.
The 3-year old was in a farming-related accident involving a piece of ventilation machinery for a barn, the coroner said. Members of the community attempted to rescue him but were unsuccessful.
The boy's cause of death was ruled multiple traumatic injuries and the manner accidental.
