Apartment fire in Ephrata displaces 13 people

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and Ephrata Police Department are in investigating and apartment fire on East Locust Street in Ephrata.

The fire started around 12 p.m. on Sunday at the three-unit apartment building, according to Ephrata Police.

Police say the American Red Cross is helping seven adults and six children that were displaced by the fire.

One adult resident and one firefighter were treated for minor burns, according to police.
