1 woman dead after Lancaster County crash

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — One woman is dead following a crash on Lancaster County's Lincoln Highway East (Route 30).

The crash occurred at 12:19 a.m. on Nov. 16 in the 3200 block of the highway. Pennsylvania State Police say a Chevy Monte Carlo lost control and drove partially onto a grassy shoulder before reentering the roadway and veering into oncoming traffic, where the vehicle collided head-on with a tractor trailer.

Juliann O'Malley, 52, of Ronks, the driver of the Monte Carlo, succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, State Police said. She allegedly was not wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not hurt, according to troopers.
