LANCASTER, Pa. — Police are investigating a shooting that injured one person overnight in Lancaster.
The investigation began at 12:27 a.m., when the victim walked into Lancaster General Hospital to obtain treatment for a non-life-threatening injury, according to Lancaster Police.
The victim claimed they were walking "somewhere" in the city when an unknown male suspect approached them, wearing a Gap sweatshirt and a ski mask. The suspect shot the victim.
A witness told police they picked up the victim "near F&M" and took the victim for treatment.
Both the victim and the witness were "very vague" and "less than cooperative" with officers seeking information about the incident, police said.
