The Christmas Spirit Light Show and Christmas Tree Lane will return to Lancaster's Clipper Magazine Stadium for the holidays, the Lancaster Barnstormers announced Thursday.

The Christmas Spirit Light Show, a 1.1-mile driving course around and through Clipper Magazine Stadium, will open to the public on Friday, November 24, the team said.

Christmas Tree Lane, a free walking event held inside the stadium's concourse, will open on December 1.

Described by the team as "an exciting, one-of-a-kind light display," the Christmas Spirit Light Show can be enjoyed by families from the comfort of their own vehicles. The 1.1-mile driving trail is immersed in hundreds of thousands of color-changing lights, animated and dancing in harmony with traditional holiday music.

Guests enter the light show from Prince Street to the southern entrance of Clipper Magazine Stadium. It takes about 20 minutes to drive through the course.

Festive food, beverages and holiday merchandise are available for sale at the entrance to the light show.

A portion of proceeds from the show are donated to a local non-profit selected by the Barnstormers.

Tickets cost $25 per vehicle (up to 8 persons) and $35 for vehicles with 9 or more passengers. Season passes are available for $75. For more information, including dates of operation and ticket purchases, go here.

Christmas Tree Lane features more than 100 trees sponsored and decorated by local non-profit groups. Visitors can vote for their favorite tree, and each vote is a donation that directly benefits that non-profit.

There will also be weekly theme nights, including pictures with Santa from 6-9 p.m. every night from Dec. 1 to Dec. 23, Toy Drive Tuesdays, Wet Nose Wednesdays, Live Reindeer on Thursdays, holiday character photos on Fridays, Christmas stories with Mrs. Claus from 6-9 p.m. on Saturdays, and free gift wrapping from 6-9 p.m. on Sundays.

Festive treats and other merchandise will also be available at Christmas Tree Lane.
