LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Crews in Lancaster County are battling a barn fire that started early Sunday morning.

According to Lancaster County Emergency Dispatch, the fire was first reported at 3:10 a.m. at the 1800 block of Red School Road in Caernarvon Township.

Dispatch confirmed that there are no injuries at this time.

Garden Spot Fire Rescue was on the scene assisting other units and stated on Facebook that while they initially attempted to attack the interior, crews were forced out of the building due to heavy fire conditions.

Fire crews have now gone to a defensive operation to focus on protecting multiple exposure buildings and hay storage, along with large stacks of rough cut lumber and pallets, the department stated.
