Lancaster County landlord charged with raping tenant

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County landlord has been charged with raping a tenant. 

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, officers have been investigating C. Michael Rohrbach, 76, since June 2024 following a report of sexual assault. 

Rohrbach was reportedly a landlord/property manager during the reported assault and the victim was a tenant of Rohrbach's at the time. 

The rape allegedly happened on Oct. 17, 2018. Rohrbach reportedly came to fix the victim's doorknob when he sexually assaulted her. 

Rohrbach has been charged with rape, sexual assault and indecent assault without consent. He turned himself in and was arraigned on Sept. 23.
