Lancaster County man killed in motorcycle crash

Joseph Sheesley Jr., 44, from Gap, was pronounced dead on June 12 at 4:18 p.m. at the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — A Lancaster County man is dead after a motorcycle incident on June 12. 

According to the Lancaster County Coroner's Office, Joseph Sheesley Jr., 44, from Gap, was pronounced dead on June 12 at 4:18 p.m. at the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Hospital. 

Sheesley had been transported to the hospital following a car crash at the intersection of Limeville Road and County Line Road in Salisbury Township around 3:30 p.m. that same day.

Sheesley reportedly was driving a motorcycle when it collided with a van. 

An autopsy has been scheduled.
