Lancaster County police identify student behind several threats of school violence

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, a 15-year-old McCaskey student was the owner of an online account that posted threats of violence on social media.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Lancaster City police have identified a student behind several online threats.

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, the 15-year-old McCaskey student was the owner of an online account that posted threats of violence on social media. The original post was created on Monday, Sept. 23 and more were reportedly shared on Tuesday, Sept. 24. 

Police are aware of at least three social media posts shared by the account. 

No charges against the student have been filed at this time.
