Lancaster County police investigating shooting that injured one

The victim reportedly did not cooperate with officers and was treated at a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. — Lancaster County police are investigating a shooting that injured one.

On Friday, Oct. 18 at 1:48 p.m., officers from the Lancaster Bureau of Police responded to the 100 block of E. James Street for a report of a fight involving a gunshot. Officers located an individual in the street with an injury consistent with a gunshot wound. 

The victim reportedly did not cooperate with officers and was treated at a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury.

The Bureau of Police does not have anyone in custody at this time. 

The investigation is active and ongoing. Lancaster police are urging anyone with information to contact Det. Jared Snader with the Lancaster Bureau of Police at 717-735-3357.
