LANCASTER, Pa. — A Lancaster man has been charged with the rape and sexual assault of an unconscious woman who was found dead in his home the next day.

Rocky Feliciano, 35, allegedly discovered the victim was dead in his Hamilton Street home in the early morning hours of August 16, according to Lancaster Police.

Arriving officers found her unresponsive and beyond lifesaving measures.

Feliciano allegedly told police he had met the woman at about 8 p.m. the night before when they picked up "adult slushies" and returned to his home to smoke marijuana and watch a movie.

Feliciano reported he and the woman had consensual sex at about 1 a.m. and fell asleep shortly after. He found her unresponsive shortly after 5 a.m., according to the criminal complaint.

However, investigators obtained permission to conduct a forensic search of two cell phones belonging to Feliciano and uncovered video evidence that Feliciano sexually assaulted the victim while she was unconscious and incapable of consent, the criminal complaint states.

He was charged on Dec. 9 with rape of an unconscious victim, attempted rape of an unconscious victim, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault, attempted sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault of an unconscious victim, attempted aggravated indecent assault of an unconscious victim, aggravated indecent assault without consent and attempted aggravated indecent assault without consent, according to the complaint.

Court records indicate he was remanded to Lancaster County Prison following his arraignment before Magisterial District Judge Andrew LeFever, who denied bail due to Feliciano's status as a potential flight risk.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 27, 2025.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the circumstances of the victim's death and are unable to release additional details.
