LANCASTER, Pa. — Two people were charged after an alleged disturbance involving a handgun in Lancaster on Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
The incident occurred around 11:41 p.m. at Mill and Andrew streets in the city, according to police.
Responding officers observed two suspects fleeing on foot, but they were quickly caught, police said.
The first suspect, a 17-year-old male, had a Polymer80 handgun with an extended magazine, according to police. He is charged with person not to possess a firearm, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor, and other related offenses, police said.
The second suspect, whom police identified as Jeremiah Rivera, is charged with disorderly conduct and evading arrest, according to police.
