Lancaster Police investigating suspected stabbing

According to the Lancaster City Bureau of Police, neither the witnesses nor the victim know what caused the 7-inch neck laceration.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Update, Aug. 6: The Lancaster City Bureau of Police announced this morning that officers have arrested a suspect in the July 28 stabbing.

Syeen Hill was arrested in connection to this incident on Aug. 5 around 4:12 p.m. on the 200 block of East King Street. He is charged with criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, possession of instruments of crime, terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.

Previously: Police in Lancaster are investigating a suspected stabbing that left one man injured on Sunday.

According to police, an adult man arrived at a hospital around 2:09 a.m. with a 7-inch laceration to his neck. 

Officers with the Lancaster City Bureau of Police spoke with the victim and witnesses, who stated they were near the North Queen Street parking garage after leaving a bar when they noticed the victim's neck bleeding.

According to their accounts, no one saw what caused the injury.

The victim is currently being treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
