DENVER, Pa. — A bridge spanning Route 222 in northern Lancaster County will be reduced to one lane next week while workers perform an inspection, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Tuesday.
The Lausch Road Bridge, which spans Route 222 in East Cocalico Township just south of the Denver/PA Turnpike Exit, will be inspected between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, August 19 and 20, PennDOT said.
While the inspection is underway, there will be alternating left and right lane restrictions on southbound Route 222 on Monday and alternating left and right lane restrictions on northbound Route 222 on Tuesday, PennDOT said.
Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
